Day 2 was pretty good without SL. The kids were at School and Sleeping over at a friends house so, I was alone. This is the last day of school though so I suspect I won't be alone often for the summer. Sucks huh? *smiles*
There was a place in the game called Lil Sturgis. It wasn't where I started in the game but, when I found the place, that's where I stayed. The SIM was a replication of Sturgis SD. I had always wanted to go to Sturgis as an adult but had never gone.
I had always been nervous of bikers even though my family, when growing up, was a cycling fam among other things. My brother raced mini bikes and Enduros recreational growing up. We went to pro motorcycle races and dirt bike races all the time. I remember at a particular race there was MC that I watched for a while. I was fascinated by them. My dad saw that I was memorized, quickly took me by the arm, and proceeded to tell me that they were a rowdy group that he didn't ever want me to be seen with. See, when I re-read that it seems like my dad was like a good protective dad. *laughs hysterically* Yeah, my Fam wasn't exactly "The Cleavers" that's for sure.
A couple years ago my friend introduced me to her ex-MC biker boyfriend. We had a connection right away. We had such a similar childhood...It's almost scary really. *laughs* But, I learned that all bikers weren't the typical bad asses. Well, he is in a Texas prison again for breaking his parole but, he IS a nice guy. *smile* And then there was the time when my husband brought his friend home for dinner from work. This friend claimed to in a hell raising MC. We went to a bar after dinner and He got drunk, told me something that he wasn't supposed to then threaten me. So yah, that's always a comforting thought. *laughs* I don't even remember what he told me..Lil fucker. *laughs*
I absolutely love bikes. I'm not a biker. I don't even have one. My husband doesn't ride either. All I know is that I love the way the air splashes my face when riding on the back. It's pure Heaven.
Till Tomorrow,
Chikalet
